My name is Rachel and I am from Bluffton University in Ohio, where I will be a senior next fall. My internship here at Ferris State University just started last Wednesday on the 1st, and I have already felt very welcomed and right at home here. I have been meeting all sorts of people and I've gotten to see how well everyone works together and I can't wait to be a part of that! Myself and the other intern here with me, Annabella, will be designing a theme meal as one of the projects this summer, and we've already gotten some great ideas! When I arrived my first day The Rock Cafe here at FSU was having a Mexican themed meal, and it was great to see how well everyone liked it and how much fun everyone had setting it up and decorating. It got me excited to start my own themed meal and learn more about all the work that goes into planning one!
Here is the Mexican themed meal that I helped decorate on my first day! Everyone really enjoyed it and had fun dressing up and going along with the theme. World's Fare is just one of many stations here at The Rock dining center.
